Worksplate (LNER) 9x5 61340 BUILT GORTON WORKS 1948 ex LNER Thompson B1 4-6-0. Allocated to Eastfield, Thornton Junction, Grangemouth and 62B Dundee Tay Bridge from where it was withdrawn in April 1967 and scrapped at P.W. McLellan (Langloan). Oval cast iron in as removed condition, measures 9in x 5in. One of only 10 B1 locomotives built at Gorton.
