London & South Western Railway earthenware Jug by Doulton. Bulbous design with integral images of a Toby character, a windmill, a huntsman with dogs and a few others. Pewter flip-lid, the company initials inscribed on top of the neck. Has a largish repair to the rear around the handle, quite well done but visible, however, when displayed front on, it can't be seen. Together with an SR earthenware flagon of similar size, 10in tall with company initials on the neck and in very good, undamaged condition. (2 items)

In nice unrestored condition with the blue lens glass cracked. Note: Littleworth was between Spalding and St. James Deeping in Lincolnshire, closed to passengers on 11th September 1961.

GER/LNER Signal Box Shelf Strip containing 5 boxes with circular labels annotated British Railways Emergency Release ? See Train Signalling Regulations Book page 115. Mounted on original backboard 41in long, each box is 4.5in square and 3.5in deep, the first left hand side has been pushed to reveal beneath the paper, a push button. This box is marked 50 RELEASE. Three other boxes marked similarly with different numbers. Reputedly ex Wickford Signal Box. Utilised in the event of a track circuit failure, or some other failure holding the points, the seal could be broken and the button beneath pressed to allow the points to be operated.

L&SWR Signal & Telegraph Section Diagram of Track Circuits FLEET. Contained within a hardback cover is a SRy coloured linen plan measuring 59in long x 11in wide showing the track and station layout from Farnborough on left edge to Winchfield on right edge. Bears the Signal Department Wimbledon stamp dated 12th Jan 1939. The plan itself is stained a little but in good condition, the covers are well faded and stained, the back has detached, nevertheless, this is certainly a rare survivor.

GWR thick card, coloured Plan, Stratford Branch Doubling ? New Station at Wilmcote dated 26th February 1907. The plan details the Clerks Counter and Ticket Window/Barrier. The stamp is that of the GWR Engineers Office, Paddington. A rare survivor in good condition with the exception of a couple of centre cracks to the cardboard.

Measuring 21in x 31in it is marked in sections with the various employee type such as Platers, Rivetters, Fitters, Labourers, Curvers, Slingers etc. Extremely well made and in excellent condition just a pity the location isn?t known. An amazing, 1960?s Locospotter?s personal collection of Notebooks recording Loco movements accurately and in most cases meticulously with important notes, mainly at South Wales MPD?s and Scrapyards but other locations too. A pair of the larger books in particular concentrate on Scrapyard movements and contained within both is an absolute plethora of incredibly unique, original BR Scrap Labels showing the locomotive number and to which scrapyard it was consigned. Significantly, also included is approximately 1900 b/w and colour Negatives (mostly 35mm with a small offering of b/w photographs to match). The minority b/w 60?s negatives were mainly taken in South Wales and other locations, the majority, later colour ones taken in the 90?s at Heritage Railway locations. These include freedom to use for whatever purpose. Also, scrap books with miscellaneous ephemera within, some used Ian Allan ABCs, First Day Covers, Wagon & Luggage Labels, a few Working Timetables and other odds and ends. Illustration shows a small sample.

The locomotive worked at the Trafford Park Estate Railway. Circular painted steel in as removed condition measures 30in diameter.

East African Railways Beyer Peacock built Garratt-type class 55 locomotive brass cab identity/history plate. The plate measuring 6in x 4in shows the loco number 868 went to the Burma Railway in January 1947 and hired to the UK War Department with number 74328. It was subsequently transferred to the Tanganyika Railway as a GB class. An historic item. Together with 5 brass letters 8.5in tall comprising: E&RHH, quite possibly ex East African Railways. Brass Pass, face inscribed SIR JJ Ltd WAR DEPt Workmens Train number 1972 , The obverse shows SALISBURY to CODFORD or HEYTESBURY. Sir John Jackson was a leading civil engineer and his company was awarded the War Department Contract for the building of Great War army training camps north-west of Salisbury in 1914 and 1915. He employed thousands of workers, mainly from Salisbury, who were issued these passes. Measures 2in diameter.
