Shedplate 2F Coventry 1935 to July 1950, Market Harborough October 1955-February 1958, then Woodford Halse February 1958-September 1963, finally Bescot September 1963-closed to steam March 1966. The ex LNWR shed at Coventry had just 12 loco while Market Harborough had only 6 locos. Ex GCR Woodford Halse had 50 during the period it used this code. Finally ex LNWR shed Bescot had over 60 locos in its care, and a few Class 08 shunters also carried this code. Lightly face restored rear original.
Shedplates / Plaques Sold for: £80Shedplate 55F Bradford Manningham February 1957 to April 1967, then Bradford Hammerton Street December 1967 to 1973. The ex MR shed at Manningham, formerly 20E in the LMR, had 25 locos on its books when using this code. The former GNR shed at Hammerton Street was converted into a diesel depot and many of its allocation of DMUs and diesel shunters carried this code. Restored over original paint.
Shedplates / Plaques Sold for: £80Shedplate 65A Eastfield 1948-November 1966 for steam. This ex NBR shed housed a star studded allocation of 170 locos in the early 1950s. Of note were K1, K2, and K4 2-6-0s, along with D11 and D34 4-4-0s. By 1965, however the total number of steam locos was down to single figures. Many of Eastfields diesel locos also carried this style of code well in to the 1970s. Face restored with the Scottish District shed casting pattern number etc cast into the back.
Shedplates / Plaques Sold for: £70LNER carriage board ABERDEEN - FRASERBURGH. Double sided wood with one metal end in very good condition, measures 32.5in x 3.5in.
Carriage Boards Not sold, reserve: £130LNER cast iron doorplate WEIGH OFFICE. Face restored rear original condition, measures 14.5in x 4.75in.
Doorplates Cast Iron Sold for: £100Taff Vale Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk clock. The dial is lettered G.W.R. in the pregrouping style and retains its J Collings blued steel hands. The English wire driven fusee movement with shaped shoulders has been cleaned and oiled and is in good condition. The case with 2 side doors and bottom door with GWR ball bearing catch and spun brass bezel with plastered in sight ring is in good restored condition. The GWR ivorine numberplate GWR 2058 is screwed to the left hand side. A lovely timepiece supplied by J. Collings of Cardiff circa 1870. In working condition but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum, key and DR D R Parr supply paperwork.
Clocks Sold for: £700Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COY LTD HYDE PARK WORKS GLASGOW No 16190 1904 ex GNR(I) Clifford QL 4-4-0 numbered 113 and named NEPTUNE. Rebuilt as Class QLs in 1924 and withdrawn in 1957. Circular cast brass face cleaned rear stamped 113, measures 7.75in diameter.
Worksplates Steam Sold for: £250Worksplate ROBT STEPHENSON LIMITED ENGINEERS NEWCASTLE ON TYNE No 3046 1904. Ex O-4-0ST built in 1902 for Appleby Iron and then the order was cancelled, held in stock, then sold to a contractor in 1904 and worksplate altered to the new date. Oval hand engraved brass in lightly face cleaned condition. Measures 13.5in x 8in.
Worksplates Steam Not sold, reserve: £1,300Worksplate LNER 9x5 LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY 5471 REBUILT STRATFORD WORKS 1921. Ex Worsdell GER J15 0-6-0 numbered GER 543, LNER 7543, 5471 and BR 65471. Allocated to Lowestoft and Norwich Thorpe from where it was withdrawn in June 1960 and scrapped at Stratford works. Oval cast brass in as removed condition measures 9in x 5in.
Worksplates Steam Sold for: £170Worksplate LNER 9x5 LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY REBUILT 1945 ex GCR Robinson 04 2-8-0 rebuilt as Class 01 in 1945 and numbered WD 1861, LNER 6513, 3768 and BR 63768. Allocated to Gorton, Sheffield, Retford, Colwick, Annesley and 41J Langwith Junction from where it was withdrawn in July 1965 and scrapped at Drapers Hull. Oval cast iron in as removed condition with 63768 chalked on the back, measures 9in x 5in.

Doorplates Enamel Sold for: £120Great Western Railway pregrouping Silber Light 3 aspect handlamp with GWR picked out in holes in the base. Brass plated G.W.R. For Petroleum Only on the top of body and reservoir and also brass plated THE SILBERLIGHT FAUDLES LONDON. Complete with all glasses and GWR etched on the front lens.
Handlamps Sold for: £180GWR brass cabside numberplate 7711 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0 PT built by Kerr Stuart as works number 4446 in 1930. Allocated to St Philips Marsh, Weymouth, Cardiff, Exeter, St Blazey and finally sold to London Transport in 1957 and became the first LT number L90 and was scrapped in 1961.the. Face restored rear original.
Cabside Numberplates Sold for: £500Smokebox numberplate 6670 ex Collett 0-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1928. Allocated to St Phillips Marsh, Worcester, Llantrisant and 88C Barry from where it was withdrawn in October 1963 and scrapped at R.S. Hayes/Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. In original condition.
