London Brighton and South Coast Railway nickel cased pocket watch with American Waltham Watch Co movement 21217345 which dates the movement to circa 1918, top wound and top set. The nickel case is hand engraved inside LONDON BRIGHTON & SOUTH COAST RAILWAY 885. The dial is free from chips and cracks and is marked Waltham. In good working condition.
Auction: March 2023 Sold for: £200Great Northern Railway Guards watch No 1216. In a nickel case with a English lever movement with top wind and lever set movement marked J.J. Stockall & Sons 6 & 8 Clerkenwell Rd London No 13826. J.J. Stockall & Sons London is also enamelled onto the dial which is free from cracks and chips. The rear of case is hand engraved GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY 1216. In excellent working condition and one the best examples we have ever seen of a GNR watch.

Auction: November 2020 Sold for: £750Manchester South Junction & Altringham Railway nickel cased pocket watch. With a top wound and top set Limit No2 15 jewel Swiss movement and dial marked Limit. The rear of the case is hand engraved M.S.J.A 19. In superb condition and working order. The MSJA retained its identity up to 1947 under joint LMS & LNER control. This watch dates to about 1925.
