Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY MAKERS DONCASTER No 1022 1903 ex Ivatt C12 4-4-2 T numbered GNR 1536, LNER 4536, 7386 and BR 67386. Allocated to Copley Hill, Ardsley, Stratford and 31C Kings Lynn from where it was withdrawn in April 1958 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Oval cast brass in as removed condition, measures 10.75in x 6.5in. Note this was on of the Push and Pull fitted locomotives.

Single Line Keys Sold for: £180London & North Eastern Railway standard B1 type steam locomotive whistle complete with valve and wheel. Stands 14in tall.

Ex British Railways Class 37 originally numbered D6826 becoming 37126 May 1974 and 37676 May 1987. New to 88A Cardiff Canton May 1963. Sold to West Coast Railway Company in 2007 and named Loch Rannoch at Carnforth Open Day on 26/7/08. Still in service with WCRC. Rectangular chromed brass, front cleaned. Measures 10in x 4.325in

Targets LT SR Sold for: £200Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD QUEEN'S PARK WORKS GLASGOW No 23674 1927 ex LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 numbered LMS 4505 and BR 44505. Allocated 12D Workington from where it was withdrawn in September 1965 and scrapped at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Inslow Works, Wishaw. Diamond shaped cast brass face cleaned and has a repair to the left hand end, measures 15.25in x 6.25in.
Worksplates Steam Sold for: £150Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY MAKERS DONCASTER No 1456 1914 ex Gresley J51/50 0-6-0 T numbered GNR 168, LNER 3168, 8900 and BR 68900. Allocated for most of its working life to 37A Ardsley and withdrawn from there in February 1962 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Oval engraved brass, face lightly cleaned, rear stamped 3168. Measures 12.25in x 7.5in.
Worksplates Steam Sold for: £600Smokebox numberplate 90036 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1944 as works number 25290 and numbered WD 7420, 77420, LNER 3036 and BR 90036. Allocated to Annesley, Staveley, Immingham and 40E Colwick from where it was withdrawn in December 1965 and scrapped at Draper Hull. Numerals only restored.
Smokebox Numberplates Sold for: £360Smokebox numberplate 90689 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 built by the Vulcan Foundry in 1944 as works number 5171 and numbered WD 79228 and BR 90689. Allocated to Fleetwood, Bolton, Aintree, Retford Thrumpton, Frodingham and 40E Colwick from where it was withdrawn in February 1966 and scrapped at Draper Hull. Lightly face restored.
Smokebox Numberplates Sold for: £280Great Eastern Railway 12 inch mahogany cased English fusee railway clock supplied to the railway circa 1890. The rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement is in good clean condition and is stamped G.E.R on the backplate. The case has a one piece turned convex surround, cast brass bezel, one side door and a bottom door and the rear of the back box is branded GER twice. The dial has been repainted post 1949 by the British Rail clock workshops at Doncaster and is lettered BR(E) 3018 which has been cleaned and GER repainted post railway service, this could easily be reversed, the rear of the dial has BR(E) 3018 painted on it. The LNER clock records show that this clock as being last in use at Stratford Assistant District Engineers Office. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key and a copy of the LNER clock record.
Clocks Sold for: £400British Railways Eastern Region 10 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement, supplied circa 1949. The original dial displays BR(E) 12857 in ghosted writing which could easily be reinstated. The case has a spun brass bezel one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Gidea Park Motive Power Depot. Motormen's Time Office. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key and a copy of the LNER clock record.
Clocks Sold for: £250Eastern Counties Railway 14 inch mahogany cased English fusee convex dial railway clock supplied to the railway circa 1850-55. The brass chain driven movement has rectangular plates with turned pillars and is stamped GER and is nicely cleaned condition. The case with a one piece turned surround, cast brass bezel, one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock also retains its green baize lining to the front of the back box. The convex steel dial has been lightly restored to the correct GER lettering and LNER is now visible as ghosted writing, the GER ivorine clock numberplate 4003 is screwed to the dial below the winding hole. The LNER clock records show that this clock as being last in use at Mistley Station Booking Hall and a copy accompanies the clock. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and keys. Rare to find a genuine convex dial railway clock. A picture of the clock is featured in the Railway Clock book by Ian Lyman page 161 Fig 5.39.
ClocksLondon & North Eastern Railway 10 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated chain driven English fusee movement, supplied to the LNER circa 1940. The original dial displays BR(NE) ghosted and 6811. The case is hinged to the front and secured with a brass turn. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at York Estate & Rating Surveyors Office Room 76. In good working order recently oiled complete with pendulum and key and a copy of the LNER clock record.
