Smokebox numberplate 4095 ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1925 and named HARLECH CASTLE. Allocated to Laira, Newton Abbot, Landore, Banbury, Penzance, Taunton and 81D Reading from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and scrapped at R A Kings (Norwich). Face lightly restored.
Auction: July 2024 Sold for: £2,000Smokebox numberplate 31184 ex SECR Wainwright H class 0-4-4T built at Ashford in 1915 and originally numbered SECR 305 and SR 1305. Allocated to Stewarts Lane and 74D Tonbridge from where it was withdrawn in March 1958 and scrapped at Ashford Works. Face restored with the B and BR(S) Eastleigh casting mark in the back.
Auction: July 2024 Sold for: £550Smokebox numberplate 6949 ex GWR Collett modified Hall class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1942 and named HABERFIELD HALL. Converted to a oil burning locomotive in 1947 and numbered 3955, converted back to coal burning in 1949 and re numbered 6949. Allocated to Laira, Banbury, Swindon, Stafford Road, Taunton and 84G Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in May 1961 and scrapped at Swindon works. In lightly face restored condition.
Auction: March 2024 Sold for: £650Smokebox numberplate 90689 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 built by the Vulcan Foundry in 1944 as works number 5171 and numbered WD 79228 and BR 90689. Allocated to Fleetwood, Bolton, Aintree, Retford Thrumpton, Frodingham and 40E Colwick from where it was withdrawn in February 1966 and scrapped at Draper Hull. Lightly face restored.
Auction: November 2023 Sold for: £280Smokebox numberplate 90036 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1944 as works number 25290 and numbered WD 7420, 77420, LNER 3036 and BR 90036. Allocated to Annesley, Staveley, Immingham and 40E Colwick from where it was withdrawn in December 1965 and scrapped at Draper Hull. Numerals only restored.
Auction: November 2023 Sold for: £360Smokebox numberplate 4964 ex Collett 4-6-0 Hall RODWELL HALL built at Swindon in 1929. Allocated to Oxley, Tyseley, Cardiff Canton, Banbury, Stafford Road and 86G Pontypool Road from where it was withdrawn in October 1963 and scrapped at Cashmores Newport. In face restored condition.
Auction: July 2023 Sold for: £550Smokebox numberplate 6670 ex Collett 0-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1928. Allocated to St Phillips Marsh, Worcester, Llantrisant and 88C Barry from where it was withdrawn in October 1963 and scrapped at R.S. Hayes/Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. In original condition.

Allocated to Holyhead, Longsight, Trafford Park, Willesden, Carlisle Upperby and 12A Carlisle Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in September 1967 and scrapped at J McWilliams (Shettleston). Face restored.
Auction: March 2023 Sold for: £2,000Smokebox numberplate 41100 ex LMS Fowler Compound 4-4-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow in 1925. Allocated to Accrington, Goole, Agecroft, Wigan Central, Spital Bridge, Blackpool Central and 20A Holbeck from where it was withdrawn in March 1959 and scrapped at Crewe works. Lightly face restored.
Auction: March 2023 Sold for: £500Smokebox numberplate 44480 ex LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow in 1927 as works number 23649 and numbered LMS 4480. Allocated to Low Moor and 16A Nottingham from where it was withdrawn in March 1960 and scrapped at Crewe Works. Face restored. See the worksplate elsewhere in this auction.
Auction: November 2022 Sold for: £300Smokebox numberplate 63435 ex NER Raven Q6 0-8-0 built by Armstrong Whitworth in 1920. Originally numbered NER 2278, LNER 3435 and lastly BR 63435. Allocations included Hull Dairycoates, Cudworth, Middlesborough, Thornaby and 51C West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn in June 1966 and scrapped at Hughes Bolckow, Blyth. In as removed condition.
Auction: July 2022 Sold for: £500Smokebox numberplate 6021 ex Collett King 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1930 and named King Richard II. Allocated to Laira and 81A Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's (Newport). In nicely face restored condition.
Auction: November 2021 Sold for: £2,500Smokebox numberplate 47665. Ex LMS Fowler 3F 0-6-0T built by the Beardmore Glasgow in 1929 and originally numbered LMS 7665. Allocated to Crewe South and 5C Stafford from where it was withdrawn in August 1965 and scrapped later the same year at Cashmore's Great Bridge. Face restored.

Auction: July 2019 Sold for: £1,060Smokebox numberplate 48625 ex LMS Stanier 8F built at Brighton in 1943. Sheds included 15A Wellingborough, 14A Cricklewood, 21A Saltley, 18B Westhouses and 15A Leicester Midland from where it was withdrawn in June 1966, scrapped at Cashmore's Great Bridge later the same year. Face restored and has been welded.
