Worksplate LMS BUILT 1928 DERBY. It is belived that these unusual engraved plates were used on a trio of locomotives that were transferred to the S&D in 1928 Built as LMS 575, 576 and 580, transferred to S&D 44, 45 and 46 (6/28, 6/28 and 7/28), in 1930 they became LMS 633 to 635 and BR 40633 to 40635 (6/48, 1/50 and 11/49). Oval cast brass lightly face restored, measures 10.25in x 6in. Together with a small LMS Wolverton 1939 oval cast iron carriage plate.
