WD registration plate WD 1264 PORTER USA 1942 . Ex Southern Railway USA Class 0-6-0T built by Porter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as works number 7420. Originally numbered SR 61 and then BR 30061 it saw almost all of its working life at Southampton Docks and was withdrawn from there in October 1962 and scrapped 5 years later at Cashmore's Newport. One of a class of 14 purchased by the Southern Railway this is the only Porter built example as the other 13 were manufactured by Vulcan Ironwork (USA). Oval cast brass, lightly face cleaned measures 10in x 6.5in.
