Nameplate SIR VALENCE ex Urie / Maunsell King Arthur 4-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1925 and numbered SR 767 and later BR 30767. Allocated to Dover Marine, Stewarts Lane and 71A Eastleigh from where it was withdrawn in June 1959 and scrapped. In lightly polished condition with original paint and not skimmed, rear stamped 766 and L indicating this is the left hand plate.
