Nameplate GILBERT AND ELLICE ISLANDS ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1935 and numbered LMS 5609 and BR 45609. Allocated to Kentish Town and 41C Sheffield Millhouses from where it was withdrawn from in September 1960 and scrapped at Crewe works. Face restored, rear with two dots indicating this is the right hand side plate. One of only two double line Jubilee nameplates and the only commonwealth one.
