Nameplate PIONEER ex BURRY PORT & GWENDRAETH VALLEY 0-6-0T built by Hudswell Clarke in 1909 as works number 871. Numbered B.P.G.V. 8 and GWR 2197. Allocated to Llanelli in 1947 and withdrawn from there in October 1952 and scrapped. Rectangular cast brass lightly face restored, measures 25in x 6.5in. Of Colonel Stephens interest as he helped with the re construction of this railway from 1908 to 1913.
