Nameplate KING GEORGE VI ex Great Western Railway Collet King Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1930 as order number 267 and numbered 6028. Allocated to Newton Abbot and 81A Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in November 1962 and scrapped at Birds Risca. In original condition. The only King class named after a King that is still in living memory the father and our late Queen Elizabeth and Grandfather of our current King Charles III.
