Worksplate ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD NEWCASTLE WORKS 6979 1940 ex 0-4-0DM, new to the M.O.D as AMW 157 and delivered to Henlow Camp, then to Quedgeley, Glos. Sold to Mitchell, Bolton, dealer around 1951 then to Round Oak Steel Works, Dudley in July 1953 and scrapped in 1960. Oval cast brass face restored measures 13in x 8.5in.
