Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION ENGLAND No 271 1960. Ex British Railways Class 31 originally numbered D5671 becoming 31243 Jan 1974. New to 41A Sheffield Darnal Oct 1960 and withdrawn in August 1990. Oval cast aluminium, face restored with corrosion on the back and the pattern number, measures 9.675in x 5.75in.

Rectangular chromed brass in as removed condition, measures 10.125in x 4.5in.

Oval cast iron in as removed condition. From one of the locomotives that was scrapped at Swindon. Measures 10.5in x 6in.

Ex British Railways Class 37 numbered D6724 and 37024 in 1974 and 37714 in 1988 and named Thornaby TMD. Allocated new to 31B March and now preserved on the Great Central railway. In as removed condition as acquired from Doncaster works by the vendors late father who was the Chief Foreman of 4 bay which was the locomotive repair shop and test bays and the stripping shop at British Rail Engineering Ltd. Measures 10.125in x 4.5in.
Auction: July 2022 Sold for: £1,000Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND 3019/8271 1962 ex British Railways diesel class 20 originally numbered D8113 and 20113 in 1974 and lastly RFS Industries 2003. Allocated new to 65A Eastfield and withdrawn in August 1991 and sold to RFS Industries where it worked on the Channel Tunnel track laying project in 1992/3 and later scrapped. Rectangular cast brass measures 10in x 4.5in. Face restored.

Originally allocated to 86A Cardiff Canton and 87A Landore in 1971. Rectangular chromed brass measuring 10.125in x 4.5in. In lightly cleaned condition.
Auction: July 2020 Sold for: £1,200Diesel Cab Plate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW 1962 ex British Railways Class 22 D6355 and initially allocated to 82A Bristol Bath Road. Withdrawn from 81A Old Oak Common in September 1968 and scrapped a year later at Cashmores Newport. Diamond shaped cast aluminium in as removed condition.

Renumbered 55008 in 1974 and named The Green Howards at Darlington station by Brigadier G. W. Eden, Colonel of the Regiment, on 30th September 1963. Withdrawn in December 1981 and scrapped the following year at Doncaster Works. Rectangular chromed brass in as removed condition. Measures 10in x 4.5in and comes with British Railways Rail Curios York letter of sale and till receipt dated May 15th 1981.
