GWR brass cabside numberplate 5055 ex Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1936 and named LYDFORD CASTLE renamed EARL OF ELDON in 1937. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Oxford, Newton Abbot, Carmarthen, Fishguard Goodwick, Hereford and 85B Gloucester Horton Road from where it was withdrawn in September 1964 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Face restored, rear original.
