Nameplate ROTHER VALE No 1 ex Yorkshire Engine Co 0-6-0ST built in 1929 as works number 2240. Delivered new to United Steel Co, Rothervale Collieries, Treeton Colliery, then Maltby in 1950, scrapped in late 1969. Cast brass in original condition, measures 36in x 13.5in. Note: A previous loco with this name became the famous Rothervale No 0 when the new loco was delivered in 1929.
