Nameplate BAHRAM from the LNER Peppercorn A2 4-6-2 built at Doncaster in 1948 numbered BR E531 and 60531. Allocated to Gateshead, Aberdeen Ferryhill and 50A York from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Face restored rear with other names of similar length plates cast in and also stamped RH indicating this is the right hand side plate.
