Nameplate CORNWALLIS ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1935 and numbered LMS 5666 and BR 45666 and named after Admiral of the Red Sir William Cornwallis. Allocated to Edge Hill, Crew North, Carlisle Upperby, Willesden and 8B Warrington Dallam from where it was withdrawn from in April 1965, scrapped later the same year at R.S. Hayes Birds, Tremains Yard, Bridgend. In lightly face restored condition, rear stamped with two dots indicating this is the right hand side plate. The first time either plate has appeared at auction.
