GWR Cabside numberplate 6 ex Weston Clevedon & Portishead Railway Loco number 4 Stroudley Terrier 0-6-0T Built in 1875 for the London Brighton & South Coast Railway as No 53 and named Ashtead, purchased by the WC&P in 1937 and withdrawn in 1940 after hauling the very last train on 18 May 1940, after closure it saw service with the GWR and was numbered 6 and painted in GWR livery. It was allocated to St Philip?s Marsh, for shunting and harbour duties and was used in 1941 to shunt at Portishead power station and the US Army depot at Wapley Common and in 1943 was used to lift rails from the WC&PR and was eventually scrapped in 1948. In original condition and was purchased by the vendor from British railways collectors corner in 1970.
