British Railways Lion Over Wheel steel cabside panel as carried by Class EM2 Co-Co electric locomotive number 27000 ELECTRA. Built at Gorton Works Manchester in 1953 it was used on the Woodhead route and was withdrawn in 1968 and in 1969 sold to the Dutch national railway operator Nederlandse Spoorwegen, where they became NS 1500 Class and was numbered NS 1502. In Dutch service it carried both its nameplates and this panel directly above the nameplates. Flanged steel with bosses on the back, in as removed condition measures 32in x 16in.
