BR-W pressed aluminium ground frame plate HAY LANE GF. This Ground Frame was situated some 3 miles west of Swindon to operate an emergency crossover between the Up and Down Mains. It was electrically released from Swindon Panel SB (now housed at GWS Didcot), and the plate was from the cupboard which housed the Annetts Key Release Instrument holding the Annetts Key to unlock the single lever frame.
