Axle Box cover LMS TIMKEN 1947 MADE IN ENGLAND ex LMS Ivatt designed diesel 10000 which was the first mainline diesel in Britain built at Derby works in 1947. An item of historic importance as both 10000 and 10001 were scrapped in 1968 and very little survives. Circular cast iron lightly face restored measures 13.5in diameter.
