Worksplate, LB&SCR No. 32 dated 1908 Brighton Works. Oval brass 'pie-crust' style. Ex LBSCR 4-4-2 Class I4 Tank Locomotive 2032, designed by Marsh, built in July 1908. These locos predominantly worked London - Tunbridge Wells trains but were not considered good performers. All but one of the class were withdrawn before the outbreak of WWII, the sole survivor gone by 1940. A quite magnificent worksplate.
