Nameplate YDDRAIG GOCH THE RED DRAGON ex British Railways Class 47 Diesel 47616 built by Brush in 1965. Named by Norman Lloyd Edwards, Mayor of Cardiff, on the 6th July 1985 at Cardiff Central Station as part of the GWR 150th celebrations. Renumbered to 47671 in August 1991 and nameplates retained until removed in February 1993. Scrapped at EMR Kingsbury in May 2007. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored, measures 59in x 17.5in.
