Diesel Worksplate ANDREW BARCLAY SONS & Co LTD No 404 1956 ex British Railways unclassified number D2402 and initially allocated to 40A Lincoln. Withdrawn from 41E Staveley (Barrow Hill) in September 1967 and scrapped seven months later at C.F. Booth Rotherham. Oval shaped cast aluminium in as removed condition. One of a small class of ten locos only.
