Birmingham & Derby Railway Police Truncheon, hand painted box wood with Queen Victoria Crown VR and BDR. In very good condition with a few very small marks in the paint, measures 17.5in long. The Birmingham & Derby railway was opened in 1839 and was amalgamated with the Midland Counties Rly and North Midland Rly to form the Midland Railway in 1844.
