Worksplate THE VULCAN FOUNDRY (LIMITED) NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS LANCASHIRE No 4731 1936 ex Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 numbered 8054 and later BR 48054. Allocated to Staveley, Barrow Hill, Mold Junction, Nuneaton and 9E Trafford Park from where it was withdrawn in September 1967 and scrapped the following year. Oval cast brass, in lightly cleaned condition, measures 9in x 5in.
