Worksplate SENTINEL (SHREWSBURY) LTD MAKERS IN ALL CORRESPONDENCE MENTION LOCO No 9570 ex 0-4-0 Diesel Hydraulic Locomotive supplied new to Barrow Colliery, where it was named, Sentinel No.5. It was transferred to Smithywood Colliery, Chapeltown, between April 1957, and February 1958, where it would be dismantled, between August, and October 1964, with the wheels, and frame being sent to Thomas Hill (Rotherham) Ltd, Vanguard Works, Kilnhurst, and with the remains being scrapped, on-site, at Smithywood Colliery, circa November 1964. Rectangular cast brass, face restored. Measures 5.125in x 4in.
