Worksplate 'Ruston Hornsby Ltd., Mark 6PS, Engine No. 425658, Lincoln England. Ex Power Starter, supplied to the British Transport Commission as a starter for engine 6VPHL which was fitted to 165DE 431758, British Railways PWM 651. Built August 1959, 0-6-0DE PWM 651 was allocated to Radyr. It became Departmental Locomotive number 97651 in September 1979. After a 6 year spell at Gloucester, it returned to Radyr and finally Canton to be used as shed pilot. By 1998 it had been privately purchased and now resides at the Northampton & Lamport Railway. Together with Pullman Carriage Builders Plates, qty 2 inscribed ' Built By Metropolitan - Cammell England 1950. Rectangular C/I measuring 8
