Worksplate ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD NEWCASTLE WORKS 6990 1940. Ex 0-4-0 DM delivered new to the MOD Air Force Department Colton Stafford and numbered 173, then to Air Ministry Bucks in 1950 and named Hardwicke and numbered AMW 174, then in 1962 to George Cohen & Sons, Stanningley later sold by them to Coal Mechanisation in London and lastly British Fuel Concentration Aylesbury. Scrapped in 1974. Oval cast brass lightly face cleaned measures 13in x 8.5in.
