Worksplate REBUILT BY THE MAKERS MANNING WARDLE & CO LTD No 881 LEEDS 1911 ex T class 0-4-0 ST. Supplied new when built in 1884 to Carlisle City Corporation Viaduct Gasworks and named Merry City, rebuilt 1911 and scrapped 1922, when works closed. Oval cast brass face lightly cleaned, measures 11in x 6.25in. The other plate from this locomotive is in the National collection.
