Worksplate, North British Railway Queens Park Works, brass diamond number 22055 dated 1919. Ex R.O.D. 2-8-0 Locomotive with 4' 8 diameter driving wheels, built under order number L704 and originally numbered 1997. One of 33 on loan to the NER and shedded at Hull Dairycoates ex works in 1919. Returned to R.O.D. in August 1921 and stored at Royd Green near Leeds. Purchased by the GWR in 1925 and taken in to stock in 1927 becoming GWR number 3081 only to be withdrawn a couple of years later in 1929. A quite historic worksplate.
