Worksplate, North British Locomotive Company Ltd., Glasgow No 25386 dated 1945. Ex WD 2-8-0 originally numbered 78531 which became BR 90408. A one time Bricklayers Arms loco, it eventually found its way to the LM Region and latterly was shedded at Bury. Withdrawn March 1964. As acquired from Mansfield Loco Depot in the mid 60's. Face cleaned of grime many years ago, back pretty much ex loco, plenty of original paint on edges and back.
