Worksplate, LB&SCR No. 33 dated 1908 Brighton Works. Oval 'pie-crust' without any cut-outs whatsoever. Ex LBSCR 4-4-2 Class I4 Tank Locomotive 2033, designed by Marsh, built in July 1908. These locos predominantly worked London - Tunbridge Wells trains but were not considered good performers. All but one of the class were withdrawn before the outbreak of WWII, the sole survivor gone by 1940. A quite magnificent worksplate, particularly as there are no cut-outs.
