Worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE co LTD LEEDS No 1459 1927. Ex 0-6-0ST supplied new to Fletcher Burrows and Co Ltd Atherton colliery and named Colonel. Later transferred into to NCB ownership and used at various locations including Chanters Colliery, Tyldesley; Wheatsheaf Colliery, Pendlebury; Parsonage Colliery, Leigh; Howe Bridge Colliery, Atherton; Gin Railways, Tyldesley; Bedford Colliery, Leigh. It was scrapped on site at Bedford Colliery in 1966. Oval cast brass in as removed condition, measures 11.5in x 8in.
