Worksplate, Hudswell Clark & Co Ltd Railway Foundry Leeds, England, number DE 1075 dated 1959. Oval brass engraved, face cleaned. Ex Manchester Ship Canal 430hp 0-6-0DE named ALNWICK CASTLE at a ceremony outside the Dock Office 18/3/59. Unusual as most plates simply have a single letter D prefix. Sold and could recently be found at Winfield Shoe Co. Ltd., Hazel Mill, Blackburn Road, Acre, Rossendale.
