Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO LTD VULCAN WORKS NEWTON-LE-WILLOWS ENGLAND No 3785/D1156 1967 ex British Railways diesel class 50 originally numbered D415 and 50015 in 1974. Named VALIANT in September 1978. Originally allocated to the LMWL London Midland Western Lines and withdrawn in June 1992 from Laira. After its withdrawal it was initially bought from BR by Pete Waterman, then later transferred to the Manchester Class 50 Group and is now owned and maintained by the Bury Valiant Group. In rechromed condition as acquired from Doncaster works by the vendors late father who was the Chief Foreman of 4 bay which was the locomotive repair shop and test bays and the stripping shop at British Rail Engineering Ltd. Measures 10.25in x 4.5in.
