Worksplate BRUSH SULZER No 504 1964 ex British Railways diesel Class 47 originally numbered D1733 then 47141 in 1974, 47614 in 1984 and 47853 in 1990. Allocated new to 86A Cardiff Canton. Named Rail Express between 2002 ? 2006. This was the loco chosen to carry the XP64 livery in 1964. Loco still in service with Locomotive Services Limited running as 47614. Oval cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 8.25in x 5.75in. It is believed that the four hole fixings were unique to this locomotive.
