Worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS CREWE BUILT 1966 POWER EQUIPMENT BY BRUSH ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COMPANY LTD AND SULZER. Ex British Railways Class 47 originally numbered D1992 becoming 47290 Sep 1973. New to 50A York Mar 1966. Taken out of service Dec 2002 to be rebuilt as Class 57 57316, entering service with Virgin Trains Dec 2004 and named FAB 1, carrying this name until Dec 2008 when it was hired to Arriva Trains Wales until 2012. Sold to West Coast Railway Company in 2013 and still in service. Rectangular cast aluminium, face cleaned with traces of BR blue paint and 47290 stamped in the back. Measures 13in x 6.5in.
