Worksplate BRITISH RAILWAYS CREWE BUILT 1961 POWER EQUIPMENT BY SULZER AND CROMPTON PARKINSON LTD ex British Railways diesel Class 45 originally numbered D100 then 45060 in 1975. Allocated new to 17A Derby May 1961 and named Sherwood Forester four months later. Withdrawn from Toton Dec 1985 and sold for preservation. Currently under restoration at Barrow Hill. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored. Measures 13in x 6.5in.
