Worksplate, Beyer Peacock (Hymek) Ltd. Serial Number 7960 Manchester 1962. Ex Class 35 number D7056. Introduced November 1962 and cut up at Swindon less than 10 years later in August 1972. Mounted on a wooden display board along with Hymek cabside numbers D7000, as displayed at the Laira Railway Club over the years. Both numerals and worksplate have, sadly, been face drilled for mounting. Together with Cast alloy Plaques, qty 4 that were displayed at Laira Railway Club, comprising King George V and the APT/Stepehenson Rocket commemoratives, each having 'S/L' engraved instead of the usual limited edition numbers. Also a good sized GWR twin shield crest and a Lion Holding Wheel Emblem. The latter two have been painted quite carefully. Comes with a BR(W) 3 aspect, brass collared Handlamp complete with reservoir and burner, a BR(W) 3 aspect Handlamp and a quantity of GWR stamped brass hinges.
