Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK GORTON LTD MANCHESTER SERIAL No8017 1964 ex BR Diesel Class 17 D8600. Allocated new to 52A Gateshead and withdrawn from 64B Haymarket in October 1971. Scrapped 2 years later at BREL Glasgow. Rectangular cast aluminium, face restored, measures 12.25in x 5.25in. A rare plate as only 29 of the Class were built by Beyer Peacock.
