Totem PENKRIDGE, BR(M) F/F. Ex LNWR station between Wolverhampton and Stafford. Good colour and shine with just a few blemished and defects. One claim to fame of this station occurred during the Beeching cuts when, upon announcement of closure of the station in 1962, the incumbent Baron Hatherton threatened to withdraw the right to cross his land if the station was closed.
