Totem, BR(W) DAWLISH, F/F. Ex GWR station on the South Devon Coast where rail meets sea along the famous and wonderfully picturesque 'sea-wall'. The totem is in lovely condition with deep colour and shine and no fading. It has a few expertly repaired chips which doesn't detract at all. A very rare opportunity to acquire this quality totem. Chances are, if ever another comes to light, it won't be in this condition. The severity of the local enviroment would have taken its toll but this one looks as though it was well protedted beneath a canopy or shelter. Quite wonderful and only ever once before at major auction, 17 years ago (and that was a rough one)
