WE AUCTION LOCOMOTIVE NAMEPLATES & WORKSPLATES, STATION TOTEM SIGNS, POSTERS & ADVERTISING SIGNS PLUS MUCH MORE....

Totem, BR(S) WINCHESTER CITY, H/F. EX LSWR station opened on the 10 June 1839 by the then London & Southampton Railway. It carried the 'City' name to avoid confusion with the Didcot Newbury & Southampton station named Winchester Cheesehill, later changer to Chesil. When the latter closed in 1966, the remaining station changed its name a year later to simply Winchester. Excellent colour and shine, one small chip bottom right of centre doesn't detract from this rarity.
