Totem, BR(M) DUFFIELD, narrow flange, face drilled variety. Ex Midland Railway station between Derby and Ambergate, junction with the former branch line to Wirksworth. Built in 1841, the first station was just north of the current station. Later reconstruction in the 'vee' of the now junction, took place in 1867. Excellent condition with deep colour and shine, just the smallest of chips around one bolt hole. A rare totem indeed.
