Southern Railway Schools Class nameplate CLIFTON ex Maunsell 4-4-0 built at Eastleigh in 1930 and numbered SR 927 and later BR 30927. Allocated to Dover Marine, Bricklayers Arms, Feltham and 70A Nine Elms from where it was withdrawn in January 1962 and scrapped. Named after the famous Public School Clifton College in Bristol. Face restored, rear original. Note this plate has not appeared publicly for sale before and the other side is on display at the college.
