Southern Railway double sided, wooden platform fingerboard, both sides read ALL STATIONS TO SOUTHAMPTON TERMINUS. Research has shown that this is from Alton Station on the now re opened Watercress Line. The Train stopped at Medstead, Ropley, Alresford, Itchen Abbas, Winchester City, Shawford, Eastleigh, Swaythling, St Denys, and Northam. Southampton Terminus closed in 1966 and is a very difficult name to find on any signage.
