Southern Railway 8 inch oak cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement, supplied to the Southern Railway in 1937 by Grimshaw, Baxter & Elliott at a cost of 3-8s-6d. The original dial displays SR 10214 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. The SR clock records show this clock as last in use at Wimbledon Park Carriage Sidings Office. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. A nice clock that has missed the subsequent BR(S) dial writing by John Walker.
