Southern Railway 18 inch mahogany cased fusee dial clock number 10021, as supplied to the SR in 1926 by Grimshaw & Baxter. The chain driven fusee movement is in working condition and comes complete with pendulum and key. The dial has been re written post 1948 by John Walker of London but is in excellent condition, the original cast bezel lacks glass. The Southern Railway clock records show this clock in use at Cannon street Station London concourse (so you might be able to find a photo of it in situ) and before Cannon Street it was in use at Dartford station concourse. A large and impressive clock.
